Amethyst Love Godz
A WEDDING OF THE AFROFUTURE
Short film by DeNai B.FLY Nixon
WHAT IS ALG ABOUT?
The Lovegodz (Portrayed by B.FLY and Kariz Marcel) are ancestral embodiments of the first African couple to be captured and sold into the American slave trade. Four hundred years after they are conquered by colonizers, they resurrected, blind in search of each other. Will their spirit guides lead them to holy matrimony?
First of all, we would like to thank the entire cast and crew that have been working tirelessly to accomplish this project. Without a dedicated team, this vision will not be a success. We would love to raise the funds to cover production expenses, i.e., editing, coloring, directing and film distribution. Thank you for joining this journey. And thank you for your donation.

Just as life, their love sprung from triple darkness. In this film, Black Skin is celebrated as greatness, strength, dominance, and represents the highest level of self-love and ancestral acceptance. The term “dark” or “black” has been negatively repurposed by colonizers of the Western world and this negative narrative has unfortunately dominated the societal view of Blackness.
We are The Amethyst Love Godz. This is our Wedding of the AfroFuture.
